The one noticed phenomena and, probably the most wonderful claim is named the "phantom leaf" experiment. Here a small portion of a leaf is minimize off; the leaf is then photographed using Kirlian photography. In a small percentage of instances the minimize portion of the leaf seems in the photograph as a ghostly apparition. The look of the cut portion of the leaf, as claimed by the Soviet researchers is proof of an ethereal bio-plasma body. There have even been claims of electrophotography being able to seize "phantom limbs," e.g., when a leaf is positioned on the plate after which torn in half and "photographed," the whole leaf shows up within the picture. This is not because of paranormal forces, however, however to fraud or to residues left from the initial impression of the whole leaf.
