PARRY SOUND 鈥?Close to a dozen people are facing charges following a drug bust in Parry Sound.On Jan. 29, officers from the OPP North East Region Community Street Crimes Unit, OPP West Parry Sound Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Tactical Canine Unit and the West Parry Sound Detachment, executed a drug search warrant on William Street in Parry Sound.As a result of the warrant being executed, police seized suspected cocaine, crack, xanax, liquid codeine, an unknown substance and a homemade firearm. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $12,000. Police also seized $1,800 of currency.
