MILWAUKEE 鈥? stanley botella A Milwaukee man who ran back into his burning apartment to rescue his cat was found dead.This happened in a five-story apartment complex near Cambridge and North Avenue on Wednesday.Fire investigators say a woman was smoking a cigarette in bed Wednesday night, while connected to her oxygen tank. Something firefighters say you should never, do as oxygen tanks are highly flammable. Rescuers tried to revive him but he succumbed to his injuries. However, it looked a bit different due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Participants walked individ stanley cup usa ually or in small groups on sidewalks, tracks, and trails across Milwaukee County.The event is expected to raise around $675K for Alzheimer s research and organizations in the area. Even though COVID-19 changed how we walked this year, the Wisconsin community came out in full force with overwhelming participation on our local streets and neighborhoods. We thank everyone for their unrelenting dedication to helping us end Alzheimers, said David Grams, Executive Director, Alzheimers Association Wisconsin Chapter.While the walk took place Sunday, people can donate to the event through December 31.
