يطرح هذا النص في فحواه خطوات تحضير كيكة منها وفيها:
سخن الفرن إلى درجة حرارة 180 درجة مئوية وضع قالب الكيك
في الفرن لتسخينه...
في وعاء كبير امزج كوبين إلا ربع دقيق وملعقتين إلا ربع صغيرتين
مسحوق الخبز وكوب إلا ربع كاكاو بودرة غير محلى ثم أضف كوبين
سكر وامزج المكونات جيداً...
أضف بيضتين واخفق جيداً حتى يتكون خليط ناعم...
أضف كوب حليب ونصف كوب زبدة ذائبة و ملعقة صغيرة من خلاصة
الفانيليا إلى المكونات واخفقها جيداً....
أضف كوب ماء ساخن تدريجياً واستمر في الخفق حتى تحصل على
عجينة سائلة وناعمة....
اخرج قالب الكيك المسخن من الفرن وادهنه بالزبدة أو رشة رقائق
القمح الكامل...
صب العجينة في قالب الكيك المستعمل واملأه حوالي ثلثي سعته...
ضع قالب الكيك في الفرن واتركه يخبز لمدة 35 دقيقة حتى يتحول
لونه إلى اللون الذهبي الفاتح ويتماسك عند الضغط عليه...
في النهاية أخرج الكيك من الفرن واتركه ليبرد ثم زينه بصوص
الشوكولاتة ...
