What is the web?
The World Wide Web, or what is also known as the World Wide Web, is defined as a subset of the Internet that includes pages that can be accessed through a web browser. For the same term, but the term internet refers to the global network of servers that make sharing information across the web possible, and although the web or the World Wide Web is an important part of the internet, they are not one, while the world wide web is defined as a system of documents related to each other. Some of them are on the Internet, and these documents consist of images, videos and audio, and are searched for information on a particular topic.

web history
British scientist Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web or the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989, while working for the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland, which is called (CERN), and the thought of inventing the Web began after Berners-Lee had a problem sharing Information Although computers are connected to the Internet, such as the need for automatic exchange of information between scientists in universities and institutes around the world, the laboratory (CERN) included more than 17,000 scientists from more than 100 countries.

British scientist Berners-Lee worked on one of Steve Jobs' first computers, called NEXT, and used Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and Uniform Resource Locator (URL), as these three technologies were the ones who founded the Web And in 1993 (CERN) withdrew property rights from the Internet and made it available to everyone, then Berners-Lee founded the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which is still developing the Web continuously at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ).

How does the web work?
Enter the URL in a web browser, for example it would be the URL (https://github.com/), where it consists of the protocol (https), the domain name (github.com) and the source or resource that comes after this tag ('/' ).
The browser starts to read and parse the URL information, and this address does not have a specific source after '/' to jump to, so the browser only opens the home page of the website.

The browser then contacts your Internet Service Provider (ISP), to do a DNS lookup* to find the (IP**) address of the server hosting the website (www.github.com), so that (DNS) communicates first with the root server, where the server looks up Root in (https://www.github.com), in order to obtain the (IP) address of the top-level domain which is (.com), then send this address to ( DNS) again, and then connect (DNS) again. Others connect to a server (.com) to request an address (https://www.github.com).
